A pupil is anyone who undergoes a period of training that prepares the individual for a later profession in life.  This does not refer to academic students alone but to anyone that is involved in anything of the above definition.  For instance a marshal arts teacher who trains his son automatically makes him his pupil.  The core purpose of training pupils is to uphold discipline and a sense of responsibility among them. In this modern life that we live daily the best qualities a good people can possess are the following:-

1.      A good pupil is always disciplined, he/she is aware of the right things to do and when to do them.
2.      A good pupil is neat and organized he/she is mindful of the placement of his/her books; stationery or anything else he/she owns.
3.      A good pupil is responsible and will always be an example for others to follow.
4.      A good pupil is hardworking and will always strive for the best results he/she can give.
5.      A good pupil will always complete his assignments on time.
6.      A good pupil will always have a good relationship with his/her teachers / guardians / parents.
7.      A good pupil is concerned about his fellow classmates grades and will always be willing to help the weak pupils improve.
8.      A good pupil is all-round and balances his/her class work with co-curricular activities especially sports. 
9.      A good pupil will always prepare well for an examination.
10.     A good pupil will not take the syllabus for granted, but will always strive to apply the theories learnt in class in his/her  daily life.
