When you make a promise you should keep it or it will be a sin. When you make a promise and you do not keep it you will make your life shorter and will live a short life. When you make many sins you will be punished for many years.  You will have to do the punishment or repent and be good.  When you do bad things you will go to hell and when you do good things you will go to heaven.  When you go to heaven you will be very happy.
